For more than 50 years, Dansk is a name that has been synonymous with mid-century style.
This Kobenstyle line of cookware, designed by Jens Quistgaard, is no exception. Clean lines, minimalist forms, and primary colors created cookware that is pleasing to the eye, durable and still sought after today.
This piece was made in France of enameled steel. These pieces are no longer in production. This pot has a red exterior and white interior. The lids for pieces in this line are made to be used as trivets; another example of form meeting function.
The stockpot (or pasta pot) measures approx 8.75" in diameter across the opening, & approx 9" high lid on. The capacity is approximately 8 quarts. These are durable, but if dropped, you will lose large chunks of enamel.
This piece is in excellent condition for the age, with several flea bites on outer rim, and a small mark on the bottom over part of the Hallmark. There are a couple spots on the lid where the clear coat has thinned a bit, but no chips. The interior has some faint staining in the bottom, which I will attempt to remove - disclosed for accuracy.
Priced fairly given condition, & compared to scarce offerings in other venues.
All fragile items will arrive professionally packed, in a carton large enough to satisfy carrier requirements when assessing damage claims. Each stage of packaging is digitally recorded.
Additional pieces may become available.
