MCM 8" Weeping Platinum Dark Silver Wavy Dish

Mid-century modern style, wavy shape candy, or trinket dish dating from the 1950s-1960s. It is ceramic or porcelain with a 23K platinum finish (dark silver) applied in a distinctive, textured, or "weeping" pattern. The shimmering, textured surface involves applying a dark silver-color glaze to simulate the effect of water droplets. The underside is a creamy ivory color glaze similar to an a traditional vintage Lenox color. I do believe it is an Elynor China product, a brand known for high-quality decorative collectibles. This piece is in good used vintage condition No chips cracks or crazing.
