Each luxury candle has a specific colored wax, reminiscent of the scented memory it will take you back to. The base of the wax is paraffin, then the wax producer works on the share of other mineral waxes in collaboration with the perfumer in order to guarantee the olfactory result and its stability. As the fragrance concentrates of each scent are made of different ingredients the wax producer adjusts the share of the waxes to guarantee the olfactory result of each scented candle. As a result, each scented candle has its own mix of waxes, made of 7 to 8 different mineral waxes in different proportions. The chandler chose to use a mix mineral waxes, as they offer a better olfactory result and products of combustion are not harmful in comparison with vegetable waxes (the combustion of mineral waxes generates water and carbon dioxide). uses Cotton-made wicks as cotton offers the best burning duration.
