Also, the draw string was snagged in the middle when I bought them so I just snipped them down the middle and tied the ends down; they can be untied and adjusted as needed. These shorts are a size 12 but in my opinion run small for people with hips and thighs. I'm a standard size 8 (29) but I have more muscular thighs and for these to fit over my butt and hips and have breathing room, I had to size up twice. So, these would be a good fit for someone who's an 8 or 10.
