So I thought these would be great packable shoes to change out of motorcycle boots once reaching a destination. I was half-right; they're very packable. They would make great airplane shoes, or lounge shoes, but they are absolutely terrible for walking any distance greater than a city block. They also run small. If you usually wear a US9, buy an 11. I typically wear US8 or 8.5 and these are tight. I found the black ones at a local Goodwill. The leather is butter-soft and smooth. The olive green ones are a reposh, as demonstrated in the photos. The finish on that leather is more of a rough nubuck or very short suede. Smoke-free & pet-friendly home.
