I finally ordered my Lovin My Bags product! Now I can protect my brand new bags that I haven't worn yet and don't have to worry about uneven patina (I'm very anal about that) I even let my bags patina before wearing (use natural light) but I guess I no longer have to do that! Or I buy the display bags at LV (as long as they don't have any stains because I like that the patina process has started on them) Also, I can protect my bags that I've used already! So EXCITED!

marly911 You maybe able to find somewhere else cheaper like walmart or a fabric store. I don't think it has to be LMB cloths just micro fiber. I am frugal and will check walmart first. lol

marly911 yes but they get dirty and I wouldn't reuse on the bags. I just saw some on ebay as well but I am gonna stop by walmart because I want to be able to feel what I am purchasing.

chicandclassic @donna0219 I have a blow dryer at home but I'm a little nervous as it so the blow dryer scares me. Lol. After I become a pro I'll pull the blow dryer out. I'm gonna watch videos while I'm doing it. I'm gonna protect my new bags first because I have a couple sitting that I haven't used yet. I'm excited though.

chicandclassic @marly911 all i put on was cleaner though. I got the dirt from under my handles (my speedy 35 that I bought in 2010) I never even put the protection or conditioner...just cleaner and its dark.

marly911 You have to use a small amount at a time. It will be even once your done. You will love the finished product. Give it a chance before throwing in the towel.

chicandclassic I think I used too much @marly911 I got a lot of dirt out but maybe used too much. The instructions say if you apply too much vachetta will darken and I think that what it did. Has that ever happened to you? I didn't put the other stuff on yet (just cleaner) is that going to be a bad thing? i kinda wanted to wait to see if it was gonna lighten back up before i put condition and protector. I'm not giving up...just nervous.

chicandclassic @617redsox I know that's the thing. The instructions say don't apply too much or the vachetta will darken but I guess because you saw more dirt you kept cleaning. They say do a little at a time. I bought the kit more so for conditioning and protecting. You can just take your bag to LV and get the handles replaced and start all over again.

chicandclassic @terrob finally got it and so far I've only use on my 35 that I bought back in 2010. I haven't conditioned my brand new bags yet. I'm such a chicken. 😏 The bags that I've used still have light patina because I never wear my bags a lot anyway. I switch up and carry my other bags.

chicandclassic @dlovelace the bags are the original price. LV doesn't discount anything. I ONLY buy the display bags sometimes because they have already stated to patina. I do not buy them if they have stains or any signs of wear of course. But there is no discount dear...it's just my personal preference depending in what I'm buying with vachetta leather.

bellasbeauties Curious if you ever did another bag and had it come out better? My speedy from 2008, is in excellent condition still , as I was still using an old one and had put it away for a few years , also the piping popped threw very early on and I just never got around to bringing it in for repairs.. I finally did a couple years ago they were going to charge me 100 for each sued do at the time I was only going to do one.. When my bag came back in , to my surprise they did both ends and FREE !! How excited was I.. But I'm afraid to do this myself. Wish I could have someone do it for me. Well I'm just wondering how you made out.. Again I'm rambling on.. Sorry. Bella

Can I use products on my LV? I accidentally spilled coffee all over it recently, & the leather at the top is nicely stained🤦. Also, the thick canvas has stiffened & the sides are dented. I've had for years & just recently started rockin' it out regularly & BAM! I mess it up. Sista needs advice please✌️💕🤗
