thedarningyarn @marlakthorne I will say, with the Mary Jane clogs~~ my experience with them has been that they are a "set it and forget it" closure. im able to slide in and out of the setting I place the buckle on, without having to unfasten them each time.

thedarningyarn @marlakthorne of course, if you have a more narrow foot, you might need to use a tighter setting than I do, so maybe they wouldn't slip on and off for you, the way they do for me. I dont want to give you bad advice. But i think as a general rule, and judging by the unbattered condition of the straps i usually see, they are a slip in and out without having to unfasten each time :)

thedarningyarn @marlakthorne thank you 🤗 this is a good question, so far it has held up remarkably, and I've had no issues reported to me~~ I am using professional grade edge paint, designed for durability on leather products. I remove all flaking and peeling trim, brush it all clean & smooth, and carefully apply 3 even thin coats of Edge Coat. I can say for certain, it is more durable than the original trim in place. I will share a listing I made, with some photos of other pairs I have done♡
