The London-based design consultancy's dinnerware features a classic blue and white color scheme, but with contemporary images. The New York Delft set includes images of everyday New York City. Delftware originated in the city of Delft, Netherlands around 1600. The most highly regarded period of production was from 1640–1740, and Delftware was a major industry in the 17th and 18th centuries. The process of tin-glazed earthenware was used to create Delftware, and artisans also made Delft tiles. Delftware may have a mark on the base or back that indicates where it was manufactured.

jimmycat @kleinlori you know, I am still head over heels about this pattern, and I’m so happy that I got it when it was available at Barneys… Believe it or not! I have to admit I’m kind of a China junkie and collect various patterns, but this will always be my favorite! I thought it was so pretty with that beaded, jeweled Kim Sebert, navy blue placemat! sending love to you, my friend!

I’ve been a China junkie forever! 😀This is one of my favorites for sure!🚖 I am thinking of you there, hoping you and your family are OK with those fires… My gosh, I used to live right there in Pasadena on Foothill Boulevard!
