shamannuptex Hi Andrew, Happy New Year! Sincere apologies this took so long! The chest, laying flat is 21.5", (43" circumference). Fyi, the chest on a coat is generally larger than its number size to allow for layers of clothing that will likely be worn underneath.) The sleeve length - over the top of the arm from the shoulder seam to cuff edge is 26.5".There's ample hem inside the cuff to allow for a 1"-1.25" longer sleeve if needed. This is a beautiful coat - let me know if you have more questions.

kelly_ferrara hi! my husband is 5'8" and a standard medium. the monico size chart shows this would be his size, is that correct?

shamannuptex @kelly_ferrara Hi Kelly, Yes, a man’s 40R is equivalent to a Medium. The model in the photo is a bit taller than your husband, so the coat will likely be a bit longer on him, but fit will be the same as a standard Medium
