Louisville Stoneware Cherry Pie Plate with Recipe 10 inch - Louisville Stoneware was founded in 1815. The recipe in the center of this plate comes from Martha Washington’s book “American Cookery”. It was believed these recipes were a family heirloom that was handed down in writing to each generation as a wedding gift. This pan measures 10 inches in diameter and has a scalloped edge. This plate is hand thrown and hand painted pottery. Each plate is slightly different. It is oven safe and dishwasher safe. It can be microwaved however the plate show be at room temperate before microwaving. This item also comes with the historical collection, cherry pie plate by Louisville, stoneware and functional art that came with the plate folded paper. This plate is new and has never been used. This plate is in very good condition.
