louislover46 @danville You’re correct a new cost that but a lot of these sellers are hoping that the buyer doesn’t know how much these bags cost new I’m like you I’d rather purchase a new one from Louis Vuitton instead of an used one for the same amount

danville @christyp1976 I totally agree Christy. I cannot think of any reason why anyone would pay this rather than buy it directly from LV. Whether it’s someone w lots of cash to spend OR someone who can’t afford new (and they’d know the retail cost at LV, that’s why they are looking on POSH) . So maybe the seller just doesn’t want to sell it. But why list it at all ? Lol. Nice to hear from you. Thanks for letting me know I’m not crazy lol :)

danville @christyp1976 LOL. I asked this seller this question back in October. They never replied. At that time I was selling my speedy bandolier 30 and got $1050 (net to me was $860) it was in pristine condition and the buyer was thrilled with it when he received it. That’s why this one caught my eye w the “over” retail price tag....it makes no good sense at all :)

louislover46 @danville i’m looking to buy one right now I have purchased three and those sellers want me to go off-line and I wouldn’t so I canceled my order I just purchased one five days ago for 1000 supposedly brand new never used this seller contacted me and told me she don’t know how to print a shipping label so I helped her with that and then after I told her how to print it I haven’t heard anything else back but if you know anyone who has one please let me know

danville @christyp1976 Has Posh credited your money back to you yet ? So strange someone couldn’t understand how to print a shipping label !! Or just take it to a UPS and have them print it and leave the bag there for USPS to pick up. My local UPS does this. USPS picks up from them daily

danville @christyp1976 Oddly I bought mine brand new at LV back in 2012 in San Francisco. I only wore it maybe 3 times to travel in airports. I never liked the strap and how it felt on my body. It was an awkward feeling and was always moving around. I LOVE and prefer crossbody’s at my age of 62. I use to often worry I’d set my bag down when carrying something else and leave it behind. That’s why I love crossbody’s:)

louislover46 @danville I explained to her in the comments how to do it to print a shipping label I even made a listing for her in my closet and tagged her explaining how to do the shipping label and after I done that she stopped answering me completely and I contacted poshmark they said give her until April 22 if she hasn’t shipped it by then I can cancel But this is the fourth one I have purchased and I have not received not one yet because they all keep canceling and want to go off-line

danville @christyp1976 Hey, just had a thought. Do you have a stein mart ? Here in Jacksonville we have one w an LV section. Beautifully refurbished. Great pricing. I think they have it on line. LXR & CO is another one to look at online. Lots of discounts. May get in trouble for writing this here??

danville @christyp1976 you’re welcome. Stein Mart. has physical stores (tho of course not open thru pandemic) but they are also online. Cute store w lots of nice (and designer) things at reduced costs. But their refurbished LLV department I saw here was amazing. And of course authenticated.. where do you live ?

danville @christyp1976 I get emails all the time from LXR & CO all the time.Its been awhile since I’ve looked at their sites but know I get discount offers and sales emails often I just thought I’d throw it out to you to check out. I don’t know first hand w LXR ..But STEIN MART I can def recommend bc I saw their refurbished LV’s. Also have refurbished other designer bags. I was so impressed w the quality and beauty of all their LV’s They appeared brand new..beautiful refurbished quality. And I forgot to mention, the salesgirl said I could make an offer to their manager. I never did bc I couldn’t afford it that day but wanted to pass that on to you so you could ask,saying a friend told you I’ll be excited to hear back from youStay healthy and safe too :)

danville @evettemtz hi. I don’t know for certain but I actually think and have been wondering if it’s the department within Stein Mart w these refurbished designer bags. I seems to me it is. I feel like that’s how and when I started getting the emails. I was only visiting Jacksonville before moving here when I was in the Jacksonville Stein Mart.

danville @evettemtz stein mart which is a discount designer store, has this department for authenticated bags w usually a 20% discount on a normal refurbish price but I was told by a sales person in that department here, I was able to make an offer to department manager.
