luvedluxury @shenanigans949 yes, I tried to do the date code as shown in the picture. It’s so dark in comparison to my other totally monogram I sold and my totally azur I sold. I will try again. Give me a little bit of time and I’ll have more pictures this evening 😊

shenanigans949 @luvedluxury the scratch is located in a highly prominent and obvious area (in the made in stamp) so the price is not in keeping with the market for these preowned bags. If it was in pristine like new condition, it would be priced high. Thanks.

shenanigans949 @luvedluxury Hi, I called the Louis Vuitton 800 # to see how long they’re running on repairs as I would want to have the made in tag replaced given its torn leather. They said that depending on the repairs, they’re quoting as long as 6 mos. I don’t know why they’re running so far behind but when I heard that, I didn’t even get a price for the tag. The bag appears to be in excellent condition but that piece alone is very visible & whatever it costs would need to come off the price of the bag.

shenanigans949 @luvedluxury I appreciate you clarifying that & pls tag me in the photos. Last month I purchased this same style bag on here that was described as being in pristine condition. I paid a very high up charge for a rare bag. I asked the buyer every question about it. It ended up arriving with torn leather piping, outside marks, pen mark inside, none of which was disclosed when I asked & would cost an outrageous amt to repair (not to mention time).

shenanigans949 @luvedluxury The seller must’ve used older photos which didn’t show the damage. Seller accused me of putting pen mark there after I spent years trying to find a bag in pristine shape. So after that experience, I’m pretty gun shy. I’m extremely honest when I list items but I realize not all sellers are & I never want to go through that again.

shenanigans949 @luvedluxury I was surprised that Posh didn’t look over the quality of the bag when they were authenticating it. I don’t know that I trust their authentication process because they are not open about it & could be doing nothing. Other big issue is I would want the tag repaired. I can’t see spending more than the price of a new bag in the stores today, to pay even more to repair it & potentially not be able to use it for six months. If you had it repaired first, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

shenanigans949 @luvedluxury I agree it beats a Neverfull hands down. They never should’ve discontinued it. I’ve owned 4 new ones from store & theyre the best tires ever. The person I bought this last one from got hers from LV in Ireland. But any bag I don’t get from store, I like a professional tp authenticate. I don’t trust that Posh or any reseller does it.

shenanigans949 I love this style more than my Chanel leather tote & Louis leather bags. I regret selling mine. But I would want any I purchased, to be professionally authenticated since I don’t know if posh even does it or how well they train their authenticators since they don’t disclose this.

I realize you said it’s not as bad as it looks so maybe you could post a pic showing?If it IS obvious & given it’s in such an prominent place, I’d want it repaired before purchasing as I need a tote I can use now (their wait is way too long!).

shenanigans949 @luvedluxury To pay twice retail (which I’d do for a like new bag) & then have the pay for the tag to be replaced & wait 6 months to get it back, wouldn’t make sense for me…but I really want one in pristine cond. so if LV’s repair time has lessened, would you consider having tag replaced? I’d pay close to asking price for this if it’s in pristine cond. w/no torn piping, cracked handles, tears, scratches or stains. Thanks!
