Did it go directly to the address of the person who bought the bag or was it sent to a Poshmark address, to be checked for authenticity? I ask this because I sold an MCM backpack but the person who sold it to me tells me that she did not buy anything that her account was hacked, at this moment the order says canceled but I did not cancel it and I do not know where the backpack is and much less the money

@verenapineda Hello!! When ever anything over $500 gets bought on Poshmark the label they send the seller to ship out is addressed to Poshmark so they can first Authenticate the item. From Poshmark it gets sent to the buyer. I hope this helps. 🤞🏻❤️🤞🏻❤️

@asbrandley Yes, two days ago the order status said it was being inspected to verify authenticity, but today the status is canceled, Poshmark did not notify me of anything, and the money is not in my account :(

@verenapineda your money will be safe with Poshmark. It doesn’t get released to the seller until after they “accept” the item or 3 days have passed. I have bought items before and had the order ‘canceled’ on me and I did the my bank account or CC refunded the money but it usually takes about a week.

@verenapineda OMG!!! I just read it!! So scary!! Anytime anyone asks to do a sale off of here I get nervous unless it’s another guaranteed venue. Pinterest would be a big red flash to lure us into a scam!! My hope for you is that Posh can catch ur item and send it back to you. If for some reason they miss it the “buyer” whose account got hacked I’m hopeful and will be honest. It would scare me if you sent it to the other address of the scammer.

@verenapineda Definitely let me know what Posh says!! They are pretty good about protecting you if you follow their rules. If they don’t absolutely keep asking for a manager until you get a complete refund for the dollar about you lost!! I have done something similar and it took 2 months but I got the ok for a $1,200.00 Louis Vuitton suitcase!!!

I did, hopefully poshmark can do something
