rebeccaschier @jackiesue597 I’m really sad! I just spoke to a USPS representative to have more clarity, and she confirm that at 4:39pm the package was only accepted from the self service kiosk (not by the post office clerk) that happens before you drop in the box or if a clerk. She said that the package is still in possession of the person shipping. The package was not turned in and accepted and scanned in by a USPS clerk.

jackiesue597 @rebeccaschier after it is scanned and placed in the box which there is a representative near the dropbox in the front. It gets scanned to go to the next destination the clerk told me as soon as it reaches the desk it will be scanned as well.

jackiesue597 @rebeccaschier The post office isn’t 100% on point all the time.. If you decide to return the bag after receiving, I will accept the return. If you do not receive the bag you will be given a refund and I will follow up with what I can do on my end. either way I want you happy and I did everything correctly on my end.

jackiesue597 @rebeccaschier I would say it sounds like a lost package issue but it’s not lost yet. It’s still supposed to arrive at Poshmark headquarters tonight by 9 PM which we have not waited for it to land yet. I think we should wait before assuming that the items weren’t scanned properly I am not in possession of the item.

jackiesue597 Also, the one 800 UPS customer service number is only looking at the tracking number and they can only see what we see which is that. It was scanned at the kiosk and accepted by the post office so to them it may look like I have it, but I don’t. It is in transit, which is what it’s showing to Poshmark headquarters would you like a refund and just return my bag to me if you receive it I would really appreciate that if that is what you want I do accept the return

rebeccaschier @jackiesue597 I promise you that I don’t want to return the bag or cause any issues, I’m just saying that they don’t have the bag. The bag will never get to Poshmark HQ. USPS simply don’t have the package… which I rather know and if I’m not getting the bag having my money back. I’m just sad because when I tell you this was my dream bag, I mean it! Maybe I’m just not meant to have it!

jackiesue597 @rebeccaschier this is a huge issue for me if they don’t have the bag because that would mean that it is lost and I have to file a missing package report. I don’t show that on my end. It shows that it’s on the way to Poshmark and speaking to the post office in person they say I have to wait for the scan.

jackiesue597 That’s the only way for the system to update us when it’s scanned. Can we please wait until tonight if it is not scanned, then the package is lost and you need to get a refund and I will talk to Poshmark about what my next steps are and the post office to see if I can file a missing package report

jackiesue597 I have reached out to Poshmark SUPPORT and let them know of the situation. It may not be an issue. It may just be a late scan, but if it is an issue, at least Poshmark is aware of what’s going on so that they can get ready and process a refund for you if you end up receiving the bag  obviously I don’t think they will refund you, but I know your goal is to get the item

rebeccaschier @jackiesue597 unfortunately they said that I have to wait 14 days for them to see if the status of USPS will change, unless they find the bag and return it to you. There is nothing at the moment that they can do. It’s posted on my bank now, so poshmark took my money away… It’s been a very difficult and sad first Mother’s Day for me.

jackiesue597 Don’t let this ruin your Mothers Day love ‘ I would dispute with the bank and they will credit you immediately while Poshmark investigates the 14 days by then you will either get the bag or I will get the bag back … I have a small business and sometimes when things happen like this, the post office messes up, but it always comes back where items are found or they will deliver it to you and sometimes forget to scan it

jackiesue597 also Poshmark told me if it’s lost I would not be eligible for a credit because it was not scanned upfront but instead it was scanned at the kiosk. The line was out the door and they were about to close. It was like 445 or something and I definitely did not think anything like this would happen so hopefully they find it because if not, I would be out the bag and the money and that’s just heartbreaking.

jackiesue597  Please enjoy your first Mother’s Day. It’s a special one and it’s so important to be with family go out to eat. Take great pictures but definitely contact the Bank. Tell them the story and let them credit you. You will get a temporary credit and then once Poshmark refunds you, the bank will reverse the credit so that way you can get your refund right away

rebeccaschier @jackiesue597 Maybe for you this is not a big deal! I saved for this bag… and it was also the bag I was looking for a while! My bank will probably take just as long and they might not see as a reason to return. I’ll have too see what to say to them! It’s not like I was planning on losing $1,300. So this does make me sad! Lucky to have my little one, that’s what truly matters. But truly sad!

jackiesue597 I’m so sorry I don’t mean it’s not a big deal. It’s absolutely a huge deal. Remember this is my $6000 bag so I’m a little worried about what’s going on as well, especially after they said they will not reimburse me for anything that’s lost. I will have togo to the post office and find out that there’s only $99 insurance that Poshmark put on this bag is absolutely absurd.
