The lock is authentic LV and is #315. You can lock the two zippers together to keep your belongings secure if desired. The Alma PM is considered a classic and timeless Louis Vuitton design, first introduced in 1934 and named after the Pont de l’Alma in Paris. The scarf tied around the handle is a 100% silk beautiful fashion scarf. The bandeau can be used to add a touch of style to the handbag and also to protect the handles. In addition, there is a beautiful bag charm that is also fashion. The larger shape features rhinestones on one side and black enamel on the other side. The date code BA0918 has been verified as authentic and signifies. The bag was manufactured in France in January 1998. This bag will go to Poshmark for authentication, although I will include the authentication card I received when I purchased it. The bag is in excellent vintage condition with some watermark spots and minor rubbing around the vachetta leather.
