Louis Feraud Ladies Jacket and Trouser Pantsuit

Yes, this is from the 90's, but this pantsuit is classic and can stand the test of time. Another one of my personal "I can't fit into this anymore" collection. Purchased from Saks Jandel which was a go-to store for luxury wear in DC years ago, this is a Made in France, double-breasted jacket and trousers. The color is deep forest green, and if you look closely enough at the fabric, you'll see it's a micro herringbone weave. As with anything French, it's exquisitely tailored. Both jacket and trousers are fully lined. The jacket has embedded shoulder pads, just enough to give shape without the drama. The jacket also has inside buttoning that if you wear it buttoned, it will slim at the waist. If you leave it open, it looks more box shape. All buttons on the jacket are original and intact, nothing missing.This is a suit that is lightweight wool, perfectly wearable in Spring/Fall. While the label shows US 6, I was a size 8 when I wore this. The measurements are: Jacket: from shoulder seam to hem: 30 inches Trousers: from top of waistband to bottom of cuffed trouser: 41 inches Trouser waistband circumference from closure: 29 inches Both jacket and trousers are beautiful condition, well-cared for, stain free, odor free, no stags, tears, loose threads.
