@quinncline Hi there... To me it is soft...but because I am cold natured, I would wear solid color long sleeve crew neck shirts underneath, incase cold wind was blowing. It made me feel more snug. I never wore it without my crew neck shirt, just my style of wearing these types of sweaters. I still prefer layers. 😊
