Lot of 2 Vtg Character Toby Mugs Jugs Cups Japan Ceramic Wales Co Hand Paint 60s

This lot of 2 vintage character Toby mugs from the 1960s features a two-piece set made of ceramic in Japan. The mugs are hand-painted with a Victorian style, depicting a character named Toby Philpott. With a medium size of 5 inches in height and 4 inches in width, these novelty cups can be used for hot or cold beverages. These original collectible items are a unique addition to any kitchen or home decor. Both mugs have tiny chips in the paint that can probably be touched up (see photos). The one with the shorter hair has a chip inside the lip (see photo), as well as a couple of small stains inside on the bottom. None of these really matter if you're displaying them, because they aren't noticeable from the front. Colors are great. These mugs are a super fun depiction of English history.
