Created in the early 1980’s by renowned artist Paul Bartlett Re’, this Lot of 2 VINTAGE ORIGINAL RAISED LINE EMBOSSINGS are STUNNING in their SIMPLICITY!!! Paul Re’ is an Albuquerque artist who created a series of 20 different raised line figures specifically for the blind because as he stated in an article in 1983, “. . . there just isn’t much art done for the blind.” We have acquired 2 of them. VERY WELL PRESERVED, the pictures just don’t do them justice. Blind or sighted, these PRE-OWNED, tactual embossings are matted and ready for your custom framing. A “MUST HAVE” addition to your art collection. The Matted size of each is 8" X 10". - Produced in 1982, Madonna III-4 is numbered 3/20, signed and handwritten by the artist on the back. - Produced in 1983 Yin-Yang or ‘Eye’ IV-14 is numbered 6/20, signed and handwritten by the artist on the back.
