Lot '40s/'50s Era Assorted Greeting Cards-Never Used-67 Pieces + Boxes

Remember before computers and social media when we wrote letters and cards to each other that were put into the mail and carried to your door by your Letter Carrier? How exciting to see the envelopes come that were not bills but elaborate greeting cards from loved ones far away--or maybe even near and dear. What a joy it was to carefully open them and read the greetings inside, and then scrapbook them and keep them as mementos. Whether you collect/are beginning to collect vintage paper, or if you love nostalgia or just like pretty things...this collection of vintage greeting cards is sure to please! What fun going through this estate find! There are several boxes of unused greeting cards, circa 1940s/1950s and touching 1960s. These are "special" cards, the kind that you paid a little more for because they had glitter and cut-outs and feathers and foil... Many of these cards are from the iconic CORONATION COLLECTION. There are several individual Valentine cards that are not parts of sets, a little thank-you note and a tiny 3-D birthday note. There are 67 pieces in all (card with envelope counts as a piece) as well as the boxes and stickers with the post notes. They are in really nice condition--none have been used. I believe there is one envelope short in one box of cards, otherwise all are complete sets. The boxes vary in condition, but overall are pretty good. Please see photos.
