These folios were designed to help G.I. performers stage morale-boosting entertainment—on bases, in hospitals, and at military posts around the world. The content is packed with: Radio scripts Revues and parodies Blackout sketches Crossover routines Full performance guides Featured Broadway hit The Hasty Heart (Folio #28) This lot includes: Folio No. 28 – Broadway Special Featuring The Hasty Heart by John Patrick (1944), and other performance-ready content. Folio No. 29 – Highlights Dated June 1945. Contains a variety of sketches, musical routines, and humorous crossovers. Folio No. 30 – Entertainment Grab Bag Dated June 1945. Designed as a ready-to-use compilation of creative performance ideas for GIs. Condition: All folios show age-related wear typical of 1940s paper, some toning, slight edge wear. No missing pages. All intact and rich in visual and textual content. Each measures approx. 6" x 9". These came from the personal archive of a WWII veteran and singer who performed in Soldier Shows alongside his father-in-law. A rare surviving piece of wartime performance history.
