Jet was a very supportive kitty to Kayla from Day 1. His connection to her was remarkable.
In her absence when hospitalized he would sleep in her room on her bed in her spot, he spent many nights at the foot of her bed where his security and safety duty was performed for her.
Well known for riding along on her wheelchair with her.
The first 24 hours since his entrance to eternal life (2-18-25) has been super tough for Kayla, she wants me to go now to get him. So please say some prayers for her as she adjusts to his absence. π«π«π«π«π«ππππ±π±π±π±

All of you who have commented are truly amazing for taking a brief moment to share your posh love with us. It's been 4 days and the meltdowns continue. she still wants me to go get him. imI took Kayla to be with my sister a few days to try and help her be out of the atmosphere and she keeps saying Sunday Jet. It's beyond heartbreaking.
I truly appreciate all of you for saying a few words. ππ₯° Posh has been a huge blessing to us mentally and emotionally.

@70sgurl thank you loveπ, it's still so hard to believe, it would take a miracle to find another one who I can say "to lay down with sissy make sure she's ok" and he goes to her room and would lay at her feet. He also would sleep on me at night, and I sleep next to her, so he protected both of us. life is different now. ππ

@nhgreatdanes thank you love, the days have been gotten easier for me. we still look for him when its time for bed or in the morning to feed him and it breaks my heart. he truly understood me with my requests and he was always with big sissy keeping watch on her when it was bedtime. I feel like I lost security in my house. he was the only man π₯

@vintageteesshop thank you, it's been 5 months and every floor creek is still working his wonders except he doesn't jump up on the bed after the floor creeks, Kayla signs for J periodically still, so hard on these kids who have no idea of the world, only what they understand at their mental age. ππ₯°
