Exceptional example vintage Longines Weems YGF aviator's watch produced in civilian and U.S. military versions in the 1940's. Featuring a medium size 28 x 36mm case with wide elapsed time 60 minute bezel secured by an adjustable set screw at 2 O'clock. With beautifully patina'd original matte silver dial with gold applied Breguet style figures and gilt leaf style hands. Powered by 17 jewel manual wind Longines caliber 10L (10.68N) movement with oversize sweep seconds hand that extends to an outer detailed seconds track.
