I also would like to make sure it is 16 individual pieces, not just 8 pieces and lids counting as 16, hope that makes sense? Ty for your troubles.

Firstly thank you for taking the time and effort to look into that. Also for being there for those folks with the flood, im sure they appreciated it. The family i was buying this for wanted the 16 piece set. But I noticed some times they count the lids as pieces. So I am going to have to go in another direction. I am so sorry.
