Lizard Monoprint

Bold Beaded Lizard Monoprint, 1 in a Series of 2. Signed by the artist (me!). Rendered in crimson red, a bit of green and blue with a soft metallic gold lizard (difficult to capture in photos). This print was made using a carved/etched wood block overlaid with found desert leaves and a feather then hand inked and rolled thru an etching press on heavy (140 lb.) watercolor paper. This process produces an embossed surface with good relief. Image comes with bevel-cut black matte and white backer board in a clear plastic protective sleeve. Image is 6.5" x 4.5"; matte is 8" x 10". Ready and waiting to be framed to compliment your personal style - looks great coupled with the Dragonfly print, also here in my closet!
