I only wash these in sensitive detergent and they were always hung to dry on a drying rack and hung in a closet prior to wear. I'm cautious of our bamboo, and never have issues with piling - I've included close photos of each top of the zipper to show material texture. I can't promise if I missed a random water spot or two, as bamboo is notorious for that l've learned in the past. I did inspect as I would for my own items to purchase!
