*Description: This is a great Lisner Lucite leaf bracelet on a silver tone metal from the 1950s. The bracelet is 7 1/4 Inches in length and 3/4 Inch in width. There is a fold over hinged clasp. The red leaves are also referred to as Moonglow leaves. This would be a great addition to your vintage jewelry collection or make a great vintage gift!
Lisner is the mark of the D. Lisner Co., which was found in New York City in 1904. The Lisner mark was first used in 1938 and continued until 1985. Before WWII, Lisner imported Schiaparelli jewelry to market in the United States. In the 70s, Lisner merged with Richelieu to become one company. Several Lisner marks:
Lisner written in small print with an elongated L: first used in 1959.
Lisner written in script in oval logo: first used in 1956.
Lisner in block print letters: first used in 1938 and with a copyright after 1955.
