Not as dark as it looks! But it can be😉 I squeezed a little onto my hand to show the true color. Only swatched twice. A tiiiiny bit goes a long way. Use less for an even lighter stain. Or more for the deep red color. Excellent formula, the color just didn't work on me. "Wonder lip paint" in the shade WLP11 Red Potion
