Limoges France Hand-Painted Trinket Jewelry Box "Le Paris Gourmande"

In the spirit of Cuisine Français, an adorable French Chef Limoges Hinged Trinket Box à la Cochon, i.e., Pig. The many handpainted messages on this lovely piece read: "Le Paris Gourmande" on the inside of the box; "Limoges France Marque Depose Peint Main" on the bottom and on the back of his throne "Bistrot Au Pied ". Ever so detailed from the bowtie to the toque, he's even got his arm wrapped around a bottle and we'll assume it's wine! Dimensions are 2-3/4h x 1-1/2 x 1-1/2" base Nice vintage condition with patina consistent of a pre-owned piece of its nature and time.
