*Like New Danner Kinetic 8” Black Hiking Boots. Size 6, they run a tad small.

I bought these boots in 2019. I wear six tried and true in just about every other kind of shoe. But after three “wears of denial” I gave in and bought a size bigger. I kept them because I keep telling myself that I could break them in, but I have to accept that I don’t have the time or patience for that. I will say that these, apparently, last forever, are fully waterproof, and are the most comfortable boots I have ever hiked in. I also wear them year round, through Michigan winters as well. If they ever wear out, I will definitely buy another pair. For now, I have to accept that these would be better suited for someone who is closer to a 5 or a 5 1/2 (or someone who has the patience to break them in!)
