@loriea I’m a true size 6(28), so they are a little baggy in the crotch for me. I’d say they would properly fit someone who is a size 8(29). They have a button fly. They are pretty short but still offer full bottom coverage. I have full/muscular thighs and the leg openings still have some wiggle room.
