Lemonade

You've heard the saying: "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." As a child, when our lemons were too firm to squeeze, we would roll them across the table, applying pressure until we would begin to see little ridges or dips in the peel of the lemon. This was a sign that the pressure was softening the firmness of the lemon. In the same way, when life's lemons seem too hard to crush, roll them back and forth across the WORD of God. Before long, you will begin to see life's lemons softening under the pressure of the Truth of the WORD. "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NIV)
