It also appears that an end loop with the strap buckle has been cut. Unless you really need a long strap, it does not affect the bag or carrying it in the least. This unique, durable, high quality bag is able to be folded and zipped up and placed into your suitcase as an " in case we need it" bag too! Lots of pockets, some zip, some open, some mesh for ventilation and ease on seeing in.
