Lee first produced overalls and work jackets in 1912. By 1925 they were reputed to have produced the most durable and bluest denim on the market. Lee was the first to use zippers (1927) and marketed Lady Riders in 1047. By 1954 Lee jeans were part of pop culture, worn by movie icons Marlon Brando in 1953's “The Wild One” and James Dean in 1955's “East of Eden” and “Rebel Without a Cause,”. Companies don't stay in business this long without knowing what they are doing. These fashionable, lower at the waist, midrise jeans leave an engaging impression with the brass colored beads in a an artistic band (see pictures) that runs across each of the back pockets. These jeans are sturdy, solid, preowned and in very good condition, except for the leather back label, which is in poor condition. See the Details picture for additional information.
