Book cover slips into a pocket on the end of the cover, and the other book cover slips into a strap of leather on the other side of the cover. The cover has a pen holder that is elastic (can fit different size pens), and a bookmark. The cover end up being kind of trifold around the book, and is secured with a long leather tie. Condition is very good. There is some light wear on the leather, light scratches, nothing deep. It gives it character and a more worn in, kind of patina look to it.
