History/Information:
Le Chat Noir was a famous cabaret in the Montmartre district of Paris during the late 19th century. It was opened in 1881 by Rodolphe Salis and became a hub for artists, writers, and intellectuals. The cabaret is particularly known for its iconic poster art, featuring a black cat, which has been widely reproduced and remains a symbol of Parisian bohemian culture.
