sharondipity71 You are too sweet! I was bummed that I couldn't go on with Cait - I had my clothes and rack and everything all ready. It's taken me two months to grow some balls lol and then poof. My parents are in their 80's with lots of issues and my Mom has dementia & I couldn't figure out wtf the problem was - but they don't ever call that late unless somethings really wrong. They live an hour away and I say this with humor bc that's my coping mechanism.....

chiaralavinia @keygaard71 Oh baby i completely understand! Yea my dad recently was diagnosed with dementia and it's hurtin me to pieces. Worse part is he's only 62. And I deal with things in humor too girl, it's the only reason I can get up everyday honestly, & by Gods love and grace. If not, idk how or where I'd be right now!

Joking around is my coping mechanism as well, chile' I been depressed for years! 😂 🤦🏽‍♀️ 🤷🏽‍♀️ we do what we gotta do to get on with life 💕 meds and all lol 💕 im a funny mess lol. I actually need to find the right therapist for me been looking for a while but haven't found one that meshes with me or I vibed with yet

sharondipity71 @chiaralavinia That's the hardest part. I have had clinical depression and anxiety since I was very young - my life story is loooong girl. But I spent two years in a hospital as a kid paralyzed with a rare disease and that's ultimately why I became a therapist. Specializing in adults with autism and cognitive disorders so at least I'm used to the crazy! Now I raise cows and try to do work de-stigmatizing mental health disorders and ending the shame. Mental health disorders are a misnomer.....

sharondipity71 Bc they are brain chemistry imbalances. Serotonin, GABA, dopamine etc. So it's actually a medical problem, not a mental problem. If we could just get that across to the universe, the world would be a kinder place. In my dreams lol!

chiaralavinia @keygaard71 I went thru some similar challenges when I was young and a young adult and it's affected my life for the past 20+ years so I understand.
