This is a high-quality inkjet reproduction of Hokusai's Warai Hannya (100 Ghost Stories, 1831) on archival-quality matte paper. It is mounted in a new 12" x 15" black wood and acrylic wall-hanging frame. The work depicts the Buddhist goddess Kishimojin who abducted (and in some versions of the story, cannibalized) children until the Buddha intervened and kidnapped one of her own children, causing a change of heart.
This is NOT a woodblock-printed reproduction.
