Late 90s-Early Y2K Black Velvet Bird of Paradise Dress Made in Vietnam Sz L

This is a gorgeous late 90s-Y2K vintage Vietnamese dress. Made of black velvet, it’s a sleeveless form fitting gown with a high slit at the leg, with an intricate bird of paradise that wraps around the front of the dress in orange, green, purple, and gold tones. The neckline is mandarin style - high with three keyhole cutouts. The dress zips up the back and has hook closures along the collar. The dress has East Asian influences, with elements that nod to both the cheongsam/qipao and áo dài. Overall in good vintage condition with no flaws to note. Is marked a size 5 with measurements in photos - dress has a ton of stretch and is approx a large. Very glam vibes!
