Large Deep Red Vintage Earrings

Large hollow semi-circle earrings. The earrings are enameled in a deep purple/red color on a dark/tarnished silver tone metal. I doubt these are sterling silver as they fly with furious attraction to a magnet. Quite impressive urgency on their part and may have startled me. They do polish up nicely if you have some time on your hands. In my opinion, they look much nicer in their tarnished state. There is a design stamped on the metal under the enamel that is shown in the last picture. These earrings are lightweight in comparison to their size. Earrings are 3 1/2 inches long, including hooks, and 2 inches wide. Purchased in an estate lot about 10 years ago. I am not sure of the age or origin. Possible vintage item. Earrings are unsigned. In great used condition. The silver rim around the enamel is tarnished and does not shine up with a polish. Some visible wear to enamel.
