Large 1940s Vintage Red Print Cotton And Wood Frame Knitting Tote Bag Purse

A large 1940s vintage knitting tote bag or purse in deep brick red fabric with a deco design. The frame is real wood and it closes with a kiss lock. The short handles are fabric. It is lined and very very roomy. The fabric is heavy cotton and the small deco diamond design is yellow and hints of blue. The lining is also fabric. The frame is 12" wide and it is 11" long, not including the handles. 17" with the handles. It is in very good condition. The fabric is clean and hole free. The lining only has a few small age spots. The wood frame is perfect. The bag isn't only for crafts, but as a fun everyday vintage Forties handbag.
