Lapis Pendant, Blue Lapis, 3 Pieces, Lot, Vintage , Blue Stone, Lapis Lazuli

This is a vintage lot of blue lapis lazuli pendants. It includes 3 pieces I love the deep cobalt blue of lapis. (1) Silver tone necklace and pendant. Silver tone metal. Lapis is in a pointed piece and capped with a wrapped flower detail. Chain 24" long; pendant 2" long; very good condition (2) Gold tone necklace and pendant. Large tear drop lapis, has a touch of pyrite too, Pendant 2 1/4" long. chain 24" long; very good vintage condition; stone looks like it is sealed (3) Carved sea shell lapis pendant; 2" long; bail has some discoloration, just clean it with vinegar besides that good vintage condition. Please view enlarged photo for condition and details.. Pendant is much more beautiful in real life. I am not an expert on vintage jewelry, but I do buy and sell what I love! Since these items are vintage, they may have a wonderful aged patina and are not meant or expected to look brand new. I treasure their imperfections as part of their charm and history. Lapis Lazuli: History: Name from Latin lapis meaning "stone" and the Persian "lazhuward" blue. Formed minerals which include mostly lazurite, sodalite, calcite and pyrite. Colors range from medium to royal blue with gold flecks of pyrites. It has a long history and interesting as it's intense color. Lapis Lazuli has been one of the most sought after stones.
