Langlitz Leathers motorcycle jacket 1982

Custom Langlitz Leathers asymmetrical zip motorcycle jacket, black steerhide. Handmade in Portland, Oregon; pocket lining is stamped 1982. Smells pleasantly of vintage leather, no smoke or other bad smells, and no stains. In excellent condition, no scuffs or tears, all zippers and snaps in good working order, all linings and seams intact. Reinforced kidney panel and adjustable gussets at waist, biswing back so good range of motion even though this is very heavy duty. There is natural creasing due to the weight and stiffness of the leather—again, this jacket is heavy af, to provide actual protection on a motorcycle. Some patina on the brass eyelets, small wear to the tape at the bottom edge of the main zipper and slight pilling on the inner lining at the armpits. I removed the leather zipper pulls as I found them a bit gratuitous and one is worn out; I will send them in a pocket of the jacket so you can use them if you want. I recently conditioned it and can confirm it is highly water repellent and very cozy for wet and windy conditions. This is the real thing for bikers, leather daddies, and rock stars. Alas, the back panel is too broad for me—I am truly bummed that this doesn’t fit me perfectly but that’s why I’m including lots of measurements, and happy to send more. Please refer to measurements as this was custom tailored for the original wearer. Original wearer was a Portland police officer, incidentally, hence the badge tab.
