Tool has only been used once before it was packed away for our move & once after it was unpacked & repaired. Cord was flawed but was repaired & soldered professionally by a certified electrician, my husband; it also has 2-3 extra feet of extended cord, just a different color. The outer portion has a bit of purple marking from my purple shampoo leaking during the move but doesn't affect the functionality at all; removed most with rubbing alcohol but some tint still remains.
