Lalique Longchamp Horse Crystal Sculpture Rare 10119400 Rene' Lalique, beginning in 1925, designed 30 glass car mascots to adorn the most prestigious vehicles of the roaring '20s. Taking inspiration from the "Longchamp" horse race track where Prix de 'l Arc de Triomphe takes place, Rene' Lalique created the Longchamp hood ornament in 1929, now re-issued in crystal. Genuine Lalique, backstamp excised on the bottom. Although we are listing as pre-owned, it has only been on display inside a locked glass cabinet and admired. Original box is included, there is no certificate. The box has a stain and a small tear on one side (the box lid),as shown n the pictures. Be one of only a few to own one of these! Thank you.
