The base houses a Swiss MAPSA musical movement that plays Der Fröhliche Wanderer when wound, adding a classic touch. Stands approximately 10 inches tall with a solid ceramic body and intricate raised details, marked DBGM on the inside of the lid. In very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age.
