I make stiff knots between beads, as they tend to relax the more a mala is used. The inside measurement hanging straight is approximately 4.5" and the tassel measures approximately 3.25" long (and can be trimmed shorter if you prefer). Size, texture, and style of bead is also something to consider for neurodivergents.
