This dyed fox trim (neck and cuffs) coat is 100% wool. I am a big believer in lavender and cedar for my woolen items. I have looked through the fabric and found no issues. The wool is smooth and silky- not anything heavy napped. It is a coat but it is very much a swing style - almost cape-ish in its silhouette. The pockets are invisible and are lined, made into the seam of the coat on both sides. Keeps a smooth shape. The coat has an additional modern vibe because of the exposed zipper that closes the front. Wear collar up or open - A black tank and jeans to a formal event. Vintage is always so unique.
