It was originally released on October 7, 1981, by Columbia Records. The album reached #7 on the Billboard 200 album chart, remaining on that chart for over two years. Two of the four singles from the album made it into the Top-40 of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. 'When It's Over', peaked at #26 and 'Working for the Weekend' reached #29. 'Get Lucky' would ultimately achieve 5× Platinum certification in Canada and 4× Platinum in the United States (RIAA).
