After a storied career in films including her Oscar-winning role in “The Farmer’s Daughter”, Loretta was one of the he first celebrities to make the move to television and hosted the Emmy-winning anthology series “The Loretta Young Show” for eight seasons. A devout Catholic, Loretta was known for her strictness on set (no swearing) but also for her charity work in her later years. She signed this vintage 5x6.5 inch photo in purple ink as she often did and inscribed it ‘Best Wishes’. It is in very good condition with just a light crease on the left side (see photo).
